Student Clubs at New England Tech
Completing a degree doesn't just mean going to class — it also means discovering new things about yourself and developing a broader perspective. Participation in NEIT’s student clubs is an excellent way to meet new people and introduce yourself to new experiences and opportunities that will look great on your resume.
Clubs that are affiliated with national organizations may require their members to be enrolled in a particular technology and may limit participation to that technology. Participation in some technical club activities may require that a student possess certain technical proficiencies in order to participate fully. Each club has a faculty advisor who provides guidance to the student club officers.
Please email the Student Activities Coordinator, Melissa Hague, firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the Student Activities office, located in the Student Lounge of the East Greenwich Building, if you are interested in forming a student club on campus or have an idea for student activities or have questions pertaining to club descriptions, activities and/or meeting times.
Students are encouraged to get involved with student activities. Surveys show that students who get involved in campus activities get better grades and are generally more satisfied with their education. Besides that, getting involved with a NEIT club is a great way to:
- Meet new people!
- Make the most of your college experience
- Have more to talk about in your job interviews.
