New Student Center
New England Tech has begun construction on a new student center, which is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2017. The student center will feature new dining options, gaming areas, a fitness center, and plenty of lounge seating throughout to encourage socialization and relaxation. The new facility will add more space for students to gather, socialize, and connect with one another in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. As New England Tech continues to grow, this student center will continue to provide connection and community for students.
The first floor of the center will offer new and expanded dining areas, including an exhibition kitchen, a pizza/pasta station, a deli/bakery, a soup and salad bar, a grill, a breakfast station, a small convenience store, and a cafe, which will be open after hours. The first floor will also have gaming areas with billiards, ping-pong and foosball and will house the Student Activities Offices which will include student club meeting rooms. In addition to interior seating throughout, there will be patio seating on the first and second floors of the Student Center.

- Sports lounge with bleachers
- Oasis with expanded food options
The second floor, connected by a grand stair case from the first floor, will have lounge seating, a gaming area and a stage for student performances. An 8,000 sq. ft. fitness center complete with a multi-purpose room for group classes, locker rooms, a combination of aerobic and fitness equipment and a weight area will also be located on the second floor. The fitness center will overlook the patios and the new campus green.
The second floor will have a number of options for rest, relaxation, and fun, including:
- Pool table, ping pong, air hockey
- Bean bag lounge and circular banquettes
- Stage with projector screen
The new student center will provide a social hub for our campus community. With space for eating, socializing, and relaxing, it will enhance the rest of the exciting campus expansion plans.
