The public is invited to visit the library at NEIT’s East Greenwich Campus located at One New England Tech Blvd. from April 11 to June 8 and enjoy the many creative works on display. All types of fine art and applied art will be exhibited including drawings, sculpture, photographs, paintings, handmade furniture, costumes, watercolors and more.
TechArts began as an art installation in 1995 offering the college community the opportunity to share their creativity. The concept of TechArts resurfaced in 2004 when a committee of faculty and administrative staff members became fully committed to keeping this tradition alive as an annual event. Art will have a permanent place in the college’s 27,000 sq. ft. library. Some of the student work on display is a product of the art-related courses offered at NEIT.
The New England Tech library is open Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday from 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. For further information, please visit http://library.neit.edu or contact Susan Warthman, MLIS, AHIP, Director of the Library and Information Commons at 401-739-5000, ext. 3553 or email@example.com.
