Calling All Artists
TechArts began as an art installation in 1995 as a way to showcase the artistic talents of the students, faculty, and staff of New England Tech and share them with the rest of the college community. The concept of TechArts re-surfaced in the spring of 2004 when a committee of faculty and staff became fully committed to keeping this tradition alive as an annual event.
All New England Tech faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to showcase their artistic talents. Entries may include oils, watercolors, pencil, pen and ink, theater costumes, puppets, ceramics, sculpture, manipulated images, acrylics, furniture, and artistic instruments. The art submission form may be found HERE.
The deadline for submission is March 23, 2013
The TechArts exhibit will be on display from April 1 through June 8 and is free and open to the public. Art now has a permanent place in the library with a mix of works from the expanding number of arts-related courses that are now part of the NEIT curriculum. Stop by and enjoy the creativity and imagination of the artists who are part of the New England Tech community.
