The Information Technology Department offers two Associate’s Degree programs: one in software engineering technology and one in network engineering technology.

Associate’s Degree in Software Engineering Technology

  • Associate’s Degree in as little as 18 months, days or evenings.
  • Training emphasizes application of computer technology to solving business problems.
  • Externships may be available during the final quarter of the program.
  • Focus on current software engineering technologies such as VB.NET, XHTML/CSS, Javascript, and C++.
  • Introduction to web technologies such as the development of websites.
  • Study of databases, includes database design and Oracle.

Associate’s Degree in Network Engineering and
Computer Servicing Technology

  • Study of Novell, Microsoft and Cisco programs. Introduction to LAN administration.
  • Associate’s Degree in as little as 18 months, days or evenings.
  • Training emphasizes application of computer technology to solving business problems.
  • Externships may be available during the final quarter of the program.
  • Graduates will be eligible to take such inernationally recognized certification exams as the CompTIA A+ Technician Certificate, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), exam.
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of personal computers and the networks they form in the workplace.
