Earn your Bachelor’s Degree in as little as three years, days or evenings.
The Construction Management program incorporates:
- Building Engineering Systems: including Electrical systems, Fire protection systems, Plumbing systems, Heat and Air Conditioning systems.
- Structural Engineering: including timber, concrete, steel and foundations
- Construction Management Fundamentals: including scheduling, quality control, estimating and specifications
- Professionalism: including professional organizations, construction practices and ethics
- Computer Skills: including project management, spreadsheets, structural analysis, CAD and presentations
- Legal Issues: including site safety, construction law and building codes
Construction Managers plan, direct, manage and coordinate a wide variety of construction projects including buildings, industrial structures, bridges, plants, etc.
Construction Managers must have knowledge of not only construction itself, but also design, engineering, technology, plus legal and contractual obligations.
This program incorporates both philosophy and theory combined with hands-on application giving students a well-rounded education preparing them with the skills needed for a career in Construction Management.
Students who have successfully completed the NEIT’s Associate’s Degree in Architecture Building Engineering Technology or its equivalent are eligible to enter the Construction Management Bachelor’s Program.
