The Master’s degree in Information Technology (MSIT) is designed for IT professionals who want to advance their knowledge in the information technology field as a precursor for leadership in the IT industry. New England Tech’s MSIT program blends technical knowledge and essential enterprise IT skills with the with the contemporary business management principles that drive 21st-century organizational performance. The program weaves technical topics such as network architecture, cloud computing and data analytics with finance, law, project management and leadership. As a result, you’ll grow your mastery of the interdependent technical and human components of an information infrastructure: software applications that support business processes, mission-critical information and data, data security practices, the network, and the people who design, implement and manage the entire system.

Flexibility & Convenience for Busy Professionals

Accelerated Academic Schedule: New England Tech's courses are held during four academic terms per calendar year, and each term is a compact ten-weeks long.  In this way, you can get you your degree quickly, with coursework fitting in with the rest of your life.  You can complete your Master’s degree in as little as 18 months.

Convenient Online or On-Campus Courses:  The entire Master’s degree can be completed entirely online.  If you prefer an on-campus experience, you can choose to enroll in on-campus, face-to-face evening sections of most courses.  For maximum convenience, you can mix and match your program, taking some courses online and some on campus.

75 Years of New England Tech

Since 1940, New England Institute of Technology has been committed to the development of programs that prepare graduates for positions of leadership in the technical, industrial, business and healthcare communities.  The private, nonprofit college has an annual enrollment of approximately 3000 students and maintains three campuses in East Greenwich and Warwick, Rhode Island.  NEIT is institutionally accredited by New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and holds many specialized accreditations for its technical programs.
