The Alumni Association’s Board of Directors met on Wednesday, November 18th in the Hall of Fame Room at the East Greenwich Campus and achieved another historic milestone. The Board of Directors reviewed proposed Association Bylaws that were drafted at the September meeting. The Bylaws will establish the organizational structure for the Association.
After review, discussion, and amendments to the draft Bylaws, the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of New England Institute of Technology voted on and ratified the “first” Alumni Association Bylaws. The Bylaws outline:
(1)The definition of an NEIT alum;
(2)The purpose of the Alumni Association;
(3)Board eligibility;
(4)The role and responsibilities of Board members and officers;
(5)Board tenure;
(6)Meeting schedule; and,
(7)Board Committees.
