‘The Conjuring’ Andrea Perron Comes To New England Tech – October 24, 2013

Before the horrors in Amityville, there were conjurings in Harrisville.

perrone family conjuring house harrisville rhode islandBased on the true life story of the Perron family, “The Conjuring” movie tells the tale of how world renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse in wooded Harrisville, Rhode Island.

Perron will talk about her families’ experiences living in the house for 10 years during the 1970’s as well as the making of the film. Perron has written two volumes on the haunting entitled, House of Darkness, House of Light with a 3rd volume scheduled for future publication.  James Wan, director of such movies as Saw and Dead Silence, has brought the Perron family’s experience to the big screen with The Conjuring.

Andrea Perron will be at the East Greenwich campus on October 24th at 7pm in the Media Presentation Room.
