NEIT Hosts RI FIRST Tech Robotics Challenge Kickoff for Grades 7-12 on Sat. September 9

FIRST Tech Robotics Challenge Kickoff Rhode Island logoIf you’re in grade 7 -12 and have a passion for robotics, then join us at New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) on Saturday, September 9 between 9 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to learn about the 2017-2018 FIRST Tech Robotics team challenge.

The competition is sponsored by NEIT and will be hosted at our East Greenwich campus.

This information session is open to students, educators, coaches, parents, mentors, and volunteers who have an interest in robotics. Join us to learn about the new season, meet teams and be the first to see the 2018 game.

New England Tech First Robotics Challenge Kickoff 2017

Groups interested in establishing a FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team are encouraged to attend. Bring your robot and try out the new game! Students and teams are welcome to attend without their coach.

More than 50 Rhode Island teams were involved in FIRST Robotics last season, so you’ll get to meet, share ideas with and make friends with students throughout the state who share your interest.
