Power Game Day!
In October the Video Game Development and Design Department hosts the Annual Power Game Day Event. All Department classes are cancelled that day so all students can attend the day-long event. In the morning, guest speakers from across the globe give game industry talks covering a wide range of topics. Speakers have included top executives , managers, program- mers, designers and noted alumni from such companies as Disney, Pixar, Google, Microsoft, Bungie, Blizzard, Rockstar, Schell Games and many others.
In the afternoon, speakers and guest companies host a mini-trade fair featuring new technol- ogies, games, a student game expo. Students get an opportunity to speak one-on-one with guests getting a head start on their career networking.
