NEIT Grants Degrees to Bermudian Students

Bermuda 2015EAST GREENWICH, RI, USA – Douglas H. Sherman, Senior Vice President and Provost at New England Institute of Technology, is pleased to announce that the following students received their degree at the college’s Commencement Ceremony held on May 3, 2015. This year marked the 75th Anniversary of the college.  New England Tech awarded more than 1000 students with an Associate in Science (AS), Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) Degree.

Bermuda graduates and dignitaries pictured from left are:

Dr. Duranda Greene, President, Bermuda College; Stefan Lambert, Zi-ne Franklin, Patrick Chapman, Jelania Hassell, Raymeisha Butterfield, Tyree Armstrong who is holding the flag in the  back row, Jasmine Hendrickson,Tiffany Samuels, Ronald Smith;  Pandora Glasford, Training Manager, Bermuda Workforce Development; and Randy Rochester, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Graduates not pictured:  Jevon Baker, Barak Bremar, DaJon Carey, Jabari Hollis, Riley McLaughlin, Irving Outerbridge, Regino-Che Smith, and Lacie Williams-Hill.           

Sherman stated, “We are extremely proud to have these exceptional students as members of our college community. Our international students enrich the learning experience for all students as well as New England Tech’s faculty and staff. We look forward to the opportunity to participate in the education of future students from Bermuda for many years to come.”
