RIVTAs 2014 Veterinary Technician of the year, Melanie Donnachie, CVT.
The Rhode Island Veterinary Technician Association (RIVTA) named NEIT’s Veterinary Technology instructor, Melanie Donnachie, CVT, as the 2014 Veterinary Technician of the Year. The presentation was made at the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association’s Annual Meeting at the Audrain Auto Museum in Newport, RI. She began her career at NEIT as a Veterinary Technology lab assistant and now serves as a full time Vet Tech instructor.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University and an Associate in Science degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College (FL). Teaching Assistant in the Vet Tech.
