NEIT Students Receive Prestigious Awards at the Society for Advancement of Management International Business Conference 2022

Dr. Douglas H. Sherman, Provost and Senior Vice President at New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), is pleased to announce that a team of eight New England Tech students received several awards at the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference 2022. This was the third consecutive year that a virtual conference was held with an increased number of high-quality teams competing from across the globe.

Pawtucket and NEIT Agree to Bring New University Opportunities to Residents

PAWTUCKET- New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) has announced its agreement with the City of Pawtucket, Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket (BGCP) and Pawtucket Central Falls Development (PCFD) to provide greater access to higher learning opportunities for students and adult learners in Pawtucket. NEIT is establishing a Pawtucket presence with a new University Resource Center downtown at 2 Bayley Street, a property owned by PCFD.

NEIT Announces the Launch of its Practical Nurse Program to Aid in Nursing Shortage

Dr. Douglas H. Sherman, Senior Vice President and Provost at New England Tech, announced that the university’s College of Health Sciences, in conjunction with its Department of Nursing, will offer a Practical Nurse (PN) program starting in March 2022. This new program was developed in response to the nursing shortage both locally and nationally. The Practical Nurse program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Since 2016 NEIT has been a provider of free college courses for high school students through the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) All Course Network (ACN) program. RIDE has extended registration for an all-important online course “Planning Your Financial Future” until July 19, 2021 when the class will begin.

Announcing: NEIT’s College of Health Sciences

Richard I. Gouse, President of NEIT, is pleased to announce the launch of the University’s new College of Health Sciences (CHS) located at its East Greenwich, Rhode Island campus. The College of Health Sciences will be housed in a 50,000 sq. ft. space within the 320,000 sq. ft. main campus building. The College of Health Sciences' learning spaces are equipped with interactive high-fidelity nursing and surgical simulation labs, surgical suites, rehabilitation centers and the latest medical equipment available in the healthcare industry.
