Faculty News: Linda Lambert, Nursing Academic Fieldwork Coordinator

Linda LambertLinda is an experienced health care professional with varied experience in a wide range of health care settings throughout the state.

Her hospital experience includes working as an RN at Landmark Medical Center in the Emergency Unit and in Step-Down Telemetry providing direct care for patients. She then became Nursing Coordinator/Oncology Coordinator/Assistant Nurse Manager at Landmark, where she was responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for two Medical-Surgical units and one Medical Telemetry unit. Most recently, she was Nurse Manager at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, responsible for the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit.

Outside of hospitals, she has worked at the VNA of Rhode Island as an IV Infusion Nurse/Hospice Team Member, as the Director of the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center (Home & Hospice Care of RI), and as the Regional Director of Nursing for Infusion Resource.

She holds an Associate in Science degree in Nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social/Health Services/Health Administration from Roger Williams University. She is a licensed Registered Nurse in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and has numerous professional certifications.
