Earn Credits at New England Tech While You’re in High School
We offer numerous ways for you to earn credits toward your university degree from New England Institute of Technology while you’re still enrolled in high school.
Project Lead the Way
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a non-profit organization that empowers students in grades K – 12 with in-demand, transportable skills. NEIT has partnered with PLTW to offer advanced course credits – and annual scholarship support – in several of our Engineering and Information Technology programs for students from PLTW-participating high schools across the nation who meet the necessary technical skills and competencies.
For detailed information about PLTW programs available at NEIT, see our Project Lead the Way page.
Advanced Tech Program
Our Advanced Tech Program provides students from high schools at which New England Tech has an articulation agreement with the opportunity to receive college credits for courses they are taking in high school. Eligible students may receive advanced standing and reduce the cost of their tuition. New England Tech currently maintains more than 700 articulation agreements with high schools in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Advanced Coursework Network
If you’re a student in a Rhode Island high school that participates in the Advanced Coursework Network (ACN), you can take a course at New England Tech while still in high school, and earn college credits at no cost to you.
Learn more about the Advanced Coursework Network and how it can help you get a jumpstart on your university degree.
You can check if your high school is an ACN participant and register for a course at New England Tech through the Rhode Island Department of Education website.
