New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), in partnership with Cyberbit, announces the launch of NEIT’s new cybersecurity training range. The NEIT cyber range is a state-of-the-art virtual simulation platform for training students and IT professionals through exercises that are virtually identical to the technically complex and high-pressure situations they will face in the real world.
East Greenwich, RI - New England Institute of Technology’s (NEIT) Rocket League esports team competed in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) finals on December 4, 2022, in Worcester, MA and won the NECC Rocket League Title in the Emergents Atlantic Division by defeating Assumption University (Worcester, MA) 4-0. NEIT’s esports program is relatively new, which makes the December 4th win especially important since it represents the team’s first playoff victory, first trophy, and the first invitation to a national competition which will be held in the spring.
Henry Winkler, an Emmy Award-winning actor, director and author will be back for an encore performance at New England Tech’s commencement. Winkler is a familiar figure to the NEIT community. He delivered the 2006 commencement address and was immensely popular with students and their families. His message of hope, determination and succeeding when others doubt your abilities, resonated strongly with attendees.
