Net Price Calculator
Effective October 29, 2011, all colleges are required to post on their websites a Net Price Calculator. The purpose of the Net Price Calculator is to show prospective students what the cost of attendance would be less any grant aid for which a student may be eligible.
Things you should know:
1) The calculation is based on:
- averages from the 2011 -2012 financial aid award year, and includes financial aid data only for first time, full time undergraduate students;
- includes only grant aid in the calculation of an individual student’s net price; and,
- in the 2011-2012 award year, approximately 72% of New England Tech’s first time, full time undergraduate students’ financial aid package included grant aid.
2) A New England Tech student’s financial aid package typically consists of federal and state funded grants, grants provided by the college, as well as student loans provided by federal and private sources.
3) Of all the aid issued to New England Tech students in the 2011-2012 award year, approximately 30% consisted of grants and approximately 70% consisted of student loans.
4) Tuition rates will not increase throughout the student’s continuous enrollment at New England Tech.
