Danielle Rezendes earned an Associate in Science degree in Architectural Building Engineering Technology in 2008 from New England Institute of Technology. As a student, she received an internship through NEIT at the U.S. Coast Guard. Danielle continued her education and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from New England Tech in 2010. Her internship experience influenced her to join the Rhode Island Air National Guard (RIANG). With a recommendation from a NEIT faculty member, Danielle became an engineering assistant in RIANG’s construction management career program shortly before she graduated.
During her time in the military, she was deployed to Afghanistan for six months where she gained valuable experience in project management while working on the air fields. Danielle is now employed as a facility project manager for CharterCARE Health Partners overseeing projects pertaining to the day-to-day maintenance and construction at three hospitals in Providence, Rhode Island. Now in her sixth year of military service, Danielle continues to serve in the Massachusetts Air National Guard, working one weekend a month and two weeks a year with the hope of completing 20 years of service to our country.
